Canada Day In Croatia

Today was a pretty chill day,

we woke up when we woke up although I think mom got up early and went for a run, I’m not quite sure though cuz she was back before I even woke up.  After everyone was up and ready to go we went on a bike ride. Dad had to fix up the bikes a bit before but a few of them had brakes not working so we just had to be careful. We went out of town a bit to where you over looked the really nice beach and a little bit of the town. Those bikes were the most uncomfortable bikes I’ve ever ridin on.

Later when we got back, I wanted to go to the main beach but Alyssa wanted to go to a different beach.   So me and dad went to the nice beach while sis and mom went to the one right below our apartment with the sharp rocks and they got some treats and groceries. Me and dad hung out on the beach for a while and tanned, he went for a long swim too, and apparently swimming in the ocean is a bit harder than swimming in the pool at home. You swallow a lot more water, and it tastes even worse. The clouds soon covered the sun and wouldn’t go away so we watched all the kite surfers, it was pretty cool to watch, dad really wanted to try it and said he’d be able to do all the cool acrobatic stuff... yeah right. He has to stretch his back every 15 minutes never mind being lifted by a kite, with a surf board on his feet and doing a scorpion in the air. Aha anyways after watching for a while we went to a drink bar on the beach. The chairs were bean bag chairs and they were so freaking comfy.

Later we went back to the apartment where we met up with sis and mom, we hung out there for a while then got ready for dinner. Since it was Canada day we put stickers on our arm showing our nationality thinking someone from Canada would stop us and say hi but it turns out there were 0 canadians in bol on Canada day. Mom gave out a few pins and explained it was Canada day, we ate, dad ate shark. Ew! And then we went back home to get some sleep.
